Counting the Kilowatts exists because there’s a gap between what the world thinks of as total renewable output versus the reality. This is an understandable oversight. We have become so used to governments, big corporations and even large non-profits telling us what the facts are that we don’t question as much as we should.

But the truth is that those huge entities have forgotten a simple truth: individual actions can add up to huge amounts/shifts.

There is a gigantic seismic shift happening on our planet. Hundreds of millions of people are taking small actions every day that will save our planet.

But those actions aren’t being counted!

And that’s why Counting the Kilwatts exists. We won’t succeed in counting everything but we can at least give it a try and get a little closer to the true numbers.

We are saving the planet now and that fact deserves to be out there!
